Unparalleled Design and Performance
Tswaka’s unique wavy cutting edge, similar to a Victor blade, is engineered to optimise fodder and feed mixing, reducing energy consumption and increasing throughput. Our modular design approach allows for interchangeable Tip and Tail blades, ensuring adaptability to diverse agricultural applications. This innovative design enables farmers to customise the blade configuration to suit specific feed types, moisture levels, and mixing requirements, resulting in improved feed quality and reduced waste.

Rigorous Testing and Material Selection
Extensive trials led to the selection of V400 steel, a high-carbon, high-chromium alloy renowned for its exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and toughness. V400 steel’s corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability ensure Tswaka’s performance in demanding environments. The chemical composition of V400 steel includes 0.4% carbon, 13% chromium, and 1% vanadium, providing the unique combination of strength, hardness and corrosion resistance.
Nitriding Coating: Enhanced Durability
Our Tswaka blades undergo a nitriding process, creating a hard, wear-resistant surface layer. This treatment enhances surface hardness (up to 65 HRC), improves corrosion resistance, and increases blade life. The nitriding process involves heating the steel to a temperature of 500°C, followed by the diffusion of nitrogen into the surface layer, resulting in a hardness increase of up to 30%.

Market Introduction and Expansion
